Super Spacer is a 100% pre-desiccated structural foam. It contains no metal and has extreme durability. Super Spacer is award winning technology. It has an advanced multi-layer vapour barrier structure, with excellent resistance to nitrogen and argon gas absorption. It has 100% memory and it allows for expansion and contraction. It also has excellent UV resistance and temperature resistance (from 60F to 260F OR -51C to 127C).

70% Improvement in Condensation Resistance                                               Due to its unique foam construction, there is a dramatic improvement in condensation resistance. Heat rushes to the coldest point. With a standard unit, the aluminium spacer bar acts as a thermal bridge, transferring the cold from the outside pane of glass tot he inner pane of glass. When cold meets warm, condensation occurs.

Sounds Attenuation                                                                                                                                                 Structural foam can act as an acoustic insulator. Super Spacer is sound absorbing, metal spacers are sound producing. There can be up to an 18% improvement over metal spacers.

Lower Sight lines                                                                                                                                                        With today’s ever increasing requirement for low line beading and gaskets, Super Spacer is the only system available that allows you to use a standard 2 mm glazing bridge without compromising the sight line whilst maintaining the correct manufacturing guidelines seal depth. The result of this is no unsightly spacer bar in the    eye line of the window.
