The face of our business is constantly changing and it has become increasingly obvious that if we are to remain competitive in an increasingly fierce market, we must introduce new technologies into the workplace.
We understand the need sometimes for customers to know accurately when products will be received. To assist in this, the Company made the decision to invest in the very latest remote asset management tracking system.
The system has a multitude of capabilities not least the ability to view the position and status of our vehicles in real time. With this new system we expect to utilize the system so that customers can be told about deliveries in a more efficient and professional manner and indeed spend less time ringing round to find people.
Over the past two weeks our entire fleet of vehicles has been fitted with these satellite tracking systems. This as already mentioned, will provide us with an instant and exact means of locating each vehicle, removing any element of guesswork as to when or where the lorry may turn up. Future queries in relation to delivery times can now be dealt with by our customer service staff who will be able to tell you with a high level of confidence exactly how far away your units are, and at what time they can be expected.
