A sealed unit can be manufactured to exhibit many differing properties and characteristics for a variety of applications. All of our units are designed to offer structural, weatherproofing and thermal protection, but alongside these properties they can also protect the user from excessive sound, heat or cold, provide security from break-ins or even firearms, as well as of course looking good and even cleaning themselves.
Within these applications, and across combinations of annealed, toughened, thicknesses, colours, sizes there are literally millions of possible combinations and permutations. Particularly, when there is a requirement for two or more of the above properties to be held in the same unit sometimes the answer is not straightforward and a more creative answer is required.
