New Range of Low E Products

Following significant investment here at Clayton, together with recent technological advances in the raw glass products available to us we are pleased to offer to the market a new generation of Low E sealed units. From October 2006 we are able to supply a full range of Softcoat products to compliment our existing Hardcoat range. The table below shows this new 'Family' of Low E sealed units, together with indicative U values and potential applications. For ease, we have named these unit types by their key properties of colour neutrality and thermal performance. To place an order therefore, please quote the new product name shown in the left column.

Three glass types are available, either with air or Argon gas filled cavities. In all cases argon gas improves the U-value, this being charged as an 'add on' to the basic unit rate. All glasses can in addition be combined with our new Warm Edge spacer to further improve the thermal efficiency of the window system as a whole.
