Clayton Glass gained 32 new customers in 2005 with no business being lost through quality or service issues. In a tough year a number of accounts however ceased trading through credit or insolvency issues.
New business success has been such that in each of the past three years, starting from zero in January, sales to new accounts made up 25% of all sales by November in the same year. This consistent development of trade and importantly its retention for future years has enabled Clayton Glass to demonstrate enviable sales growth despite the inevitable setbacks the market brings.
