In 2005 Clayton Glass have continued with its policy of developing and investing in its people by instigating a programme of NVQ training available to all staff. The results are that over 60% of the entire workforce have now gained a qualification.

Staff from all areas and levels of the business have undertaken a variety of NVQ based courses, from Business Administration to Glass Processing. The vast majority, in fact 53% of the production team have undertaken and passed NVQ in glass.

Managing Director, Ryan Green, said “… this is a testimony of the quality of our people, they have taken the time to study for this qualification, we have given them time, they increase their qualifications, we have a better trained & educated workforce which is then reflected in the quality of our product and staff retention rates, which have never been better… everyone benefits, employees, customers, Clayton Glass”
