Further to our qualification as finalists in the 2005 North East Business Awards, management and staff representatives from the company attended an awards dinner at Ramside Hall back in April.

Sadly, on the evening we fell at the final fence with the award for Durham and Wearside Company of the Year being claimed by Hargreaves Services, who then went forward to the North East finals of the competition.

Despite the result all attending the evening had a fantastic night, with the disappointment of not having progressed further doing nothing to dampen the spirits of all concerned. Ultimately, reward itself was gained from both the taking part and qualifying at the first attempt to the finals of the competition’s most prestigious award.

Sincere and wholehearted thanks is deserved by each and every member of staff who has helped directly and indirectly in this achievement, giving us as a company something to feel tremendously proud of.
